The pain of being a hairy bloke in Australia :-(
Sorry in advance for grossing out any female board members.
I have been in Australia for six months now and love everything about the place. I especially love going to the beach for a swim.
However since coming here I have noticed that 99% of the guys down the beach look like they have to shave once a month never mind having a hairy chest or god forbid a hairy back!!!
I am a guy who shaves in the morning and by lunch time has stubble again
I have tried the male veet stuff but regrowth starts after one day and it is really uncomfortable for a good week after this.
Has anyone tried laser hair reduction treatment? Does it work?
Or am I going to get horrified looks from women down at the beach forever
At least my wife doesn't mind the way I am I suppose.

Unless you are looking to shag around then I fail to see what other people's opinions have to do with your life.

So, your wife is OK with your looks and you are concerned about what other women (I note you don't mention the opinion of the males) think about you at the beach?

Well, actually I wouldn't but then again I don't like my old man much.

Perhaps we're being too harsh here... I mean what guy doesnt secretly like being on the arm of the most gorgeous bird in the joint..... Would you want to married to some one that others look at and are thinking... Jeez, how does he shag her???? Which one wears the paper bag over their head? Do they double bag just in case one splits????

Do you have a very hairy chest and back, is it like Werewolf? Is it gorilla proportions?
If it is your chest and back then get it waxed off and sell the hair to poor countries to make a rug.
On South Beach last year I saw a woman in a bikini, she looked Mediterranean and nothing and I mean nothing could detract away from the panty forest escaping her bikini line, i only looked because Mr PP clocked it - well you couldnt miss it, it was like she had the beard of Osama Bin Laden in her panties - her choice I guess.
So its up to you, dare to be different, dare to bare the hair or wax it off your back.
But as people have said, if your wife is happy and you are happy, dont try and fit in with what you wouldnt normally feel comfy with.
(and if you are like a woolly mammoth - photos please)
