Even if they are put on segregation 'for their own protection ' someone like that is still at risk from both inmates and warders. There have been many cases of officers turning a blind eye to unlocked doors etc when it comes to people like this and its not unknown for some of them to dish out their own punches.
Criminals have their own 'code of conduct' and someone like this is seen as the worst type of offender. Turning a blind eye while prisoners mete out their own justice to these people is very common.

Who me? Where did I say anything remotely like that? Whilst I have no real problem that this guy died, I do have a very real issue with vigilantes. Medals for murdering someone seems moronic but hey, that's just my opinion.

I dont condone the death penalty, its barbaric... And at the end of the day this young man was executed in an horrific manner...
Hopefully the people who carried out this crime will NEVER be released...

I do not condone such killings.
