Oxygen Concentrator
This may interest anyone who has friends or relatives visiting who need an pure oxygen supply on a daily basis.
I recently had my father visit from the UK. My father needs a pure oxygen supply for 15 hours a day as he has a medical condition. I contacted BOC gas as I get oxy bottles from them for work and thought that they would supply medical oxygen bottles. They put me in touch with a company called OXYCARE.
I managed to arrange thru Oxycare for a concentrator (Oxygen making machine) and a emergency 5KG oxygen bottle to be available for my fathers visit at my home. I also arranged for the same to be available at my brothers home in WA. All we had to do was supply a note from my fathers doctor back in the UK stating his requirements and fill out a few forms. Nothing could have been simpler.
If you have any friends/relatives visiting who need a pure oxygen supply then do not hesitate to contact Oxycare.

We took him up to the snowy mountains for a couple of days. we went to Thredbo and whilst my wife and step mum went up the chair lift, we retired to the pub and dad just used the portable 5KG bottle of oxygen whilst having a couple of cold ones.

My father used the machine for the same amount of hours as he would have back in the UK, however, as we are about 800m above sea level, he did get out of puff a bit quicker than he normally would.

We have just been to Freemantle for the day, your dad is sat in the garden now, hooked up to the machine as we speak.
He is needing to use it more here in Oz for one reason only and that being the amount of beer he is drinking !
Apparently the bubbles bloat him out and squash his lungs !! Nicky

A big burp or fart should cure that problem.
