Owners of automatic pool cleaners....

What have you got and is it any good? Ours is dying and I'm looking for recommendations. We've currently got a Great White and it's been great apart from not liking the shallow end
Had it about 7 years so not complaining obviously.

We have a trident- a robotic cleaner that doesn't need suction like a polaris, and cleans up to the waterline. The bag can be washed in the washing machine when it gets too dirty, but normally you just rinse it out in the skimmer basket. It is expensive, but effective. You can even drive it by remote control if you want to.

I have a pool shark, smaller version of great white - it works well. Had a Questa Maxi Vac in the past and that worked well too, but the gears eventually failed after 6 years of heavy use. Never had any luck with those 'Baracuda' style cleaners though, waste of money.

I'm over the suction based ones.
I just vacuum manually now.
This crop of fully automatic, self-contained ones seem expensive but worth it.

I'm tempted....first year as a pool owner and the suction cleaner works well.....but.....always looking to improve!

Zodiac V3 4WD here. I worried about the spend at the time but it's well worth it.
