Our wedding song was Robbie Williams Angels - gawd! it was a longgggggg song when we where the only 2 on the dance floor
I wanted Westlife's Flying Without Wings but the hubby was having none of it. Never mind, going to see my boys in a few weeks time at the Odyssey in Belfast.

Our song is "Truly, Madly, Deeply" Savage Garden.
Hubby bought me the cd and put it next to a rose on my pillow

Ours is 'Unchained Melody' - we obviously thought that we were Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in Ghost! Although, I do have to say the resemblance is uncanny........................................... .........

We had the Simply Red version of - Brand New
Know what you mean about swooning round in circles on the dance floor on your own for what seems like aaaages!

We're getting married next year (just before we come out to Oz - which might be a sure fire way of inducing a nervous breakdown, that's a LOT of planning, and all at the same time....!) and we're having Better Together by Jack Johnson.

Scubaemma, I absolutely love that song and if I was going to get married now I would definitely have that one as the wedding song - good choice!!

We have two songs that remind us of when we were carefree and travelling the world together
gentle on my mind - Dean Martin
and
Good riddance (time of your life) - Green Day

Here i go again by Whitesnake is mine and my husbands song. Played on the dukebox all the time in the pub when we first started going out in 1987. Other songs that make me remember important things in my life. 2 become 1 by Spice Girls was at no 1 when I had my first daughter
I'm already there by Lonestar was all over Canadian radio when I had my second daughter.

S Club 7 - Reach (it was playing the night we met)
Blood Sweat and Tears - You make me so very happy (it was the background music to an ad on the TV which played constantly during a very happy period of our lives)
Stevie Wonder - For once in my life (we both like the words)
Van Morrison - Moondance (confession: I first heard - and danced to - this with a previous boyfriend but we both like it)
Elvis Presley - Burning love (because it makes OH laugh when I sing 'hunka hunka burnin' love')
Moon River - this isn't my favourite, but it's OH (probably something to do with Audrey Hepburn...)
The Jack Johnson song mentioned is lovely
As we're likely never to have the opportunity to dance to these songs at our wedding, I just have to make do with a shuffle round the living room

We didn't have a first dance at our wedding (too hungover
), but our song is definitely Stuck In The Middle With You by Stealers Wheel. You can dance like a lunatic and pretend no-one's watching.
