Hi folks,
I am in need of an osteopath, I am in Mindarie and have found one in Kinross, they are wayyyyyyyyyy more expensive that the UK at $85 for the first session. Is this the going rate, or can anyone recommend another one?
Cheers

Hi Flixy
The subject of osteopaths came up fairly recently: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...th#post8808660
The first visit to a health professional is usually more expensive. Having private medical cover helps.
I think Illona also visits Mt Lawley one day a week, but going to Fremantle would perhaps be an easier and more scenic drive for you. Illona is very good and I can recommend her, she's worth the drive. If you ring the practice above, they might be able to tell you if there's a good osteopath further north.

As Helen said the first visit is normally more expensive and its a longer session.Ask them how much the next one will be.

Thank you both, I will have a look at the link. The follow on appointments are $80, so not much of a discount!

I must have been lucky, my UK osteopath only charged £27.But yes, it will be worth it if I find the right one.
