One reason why I left the UK - Fivelive!
Not listened to it for over a year! - Today made me decide to have a listen to current events!
Crikey! - what a stir up! - 25 Planes falling into the ocean, Exploding babies, lucozade that has the force to blow up London. Doomed i tell ye ..... DOOOOOOOOMMMMEEDD
Nice to go back to "the country hour" where the most exciting thing is the price of carrots!

I always found fivelive to be a poor station journalistically. It was always trying to shock, and generally reporting news, before it had a clue of the facts, simply trying to be first. As for the 'phone-ins' drivel, pleased I dont have to hear it any longer, even the football commentary was shocking, every reporter always trying to fit in a 'witty' soundbite he had concocted the night before, or talking to his co commentator about everything but football, instead of doing what they were being paid for........................commentating on a football match.
