Twenty bloody minutes on the treadmill at the gym with wall to wall TVs and most of them showing nothing a plane taxi the runway, followed by riveting shots of the plane door.....for a further hour or so well it felt like it.

Given my other viewing options were a MTV video of miley cirrus doing a female anatomy lesson I was forced to watch W&K allegedly being stunned to death by a royal reception unlike any other of the other 1000 W has done before.

Just had our installment out this way. The Kiwi's lapped it up, absolutely loved it. The Poms just went about life as normal. Hopefully they'll swing us a few bob for the rebuild, least then they would have served a purpose

The bit I can't understand is they make loads of backhanded statements about how much it costs, and how they ought not to have visits, and should be a republic etc ....... and then cover it wall to wall on the news with particular attention to what she's wearing, the baby, what they are visiting.

Look, we realise your country doesn't have anything as noteworthy, we realise you like it all really - just own up to it and stop the two-facedness of it all.

Maybe it just reflects the broad spectrum of different views.
