What, you haven't heard all the jokes about Victorian drivers?

I get a lot of mileage out of them, having a father from Victoria.

Yep, they're great on the odd occasion they work! Every time I've been there recently full spots have had green lights and others haven't had a light of any colour that functions!

They are fine if you get there quite early - they are reasonably reliable but they dont like "lazy parkers" - the lights dont switch if you dont go into the space the right way.

I'm more p*ssed off with the Canberra Centre management for the metal strips which are as slippery as ice when a puddle forms over them up on the roof - went base over apex into a puddle yesterday because my foot aquaplaned on the metal. Had to go and buy a new set of clothes so I could go to work. Not a good experience for an old lady!!!

I don't find the driving particularly difficult in Vic. Some things are better some things are worse but overall I don't see any more dick-heads or dumb-asses than I would see in the UK.

Maybe it's the way people drive that causes others to behave oddly around them?

I hope you're okay. I've boycotted the Canberra Centre because the management don't make it customer friendly. It seems to be run solely for their convenience

$20? You can find somewhere that does a decent hair cut for $20???? Mine is never less than $100!

And yes, thanks, I am OK - one big bruise and a nice new set of clothes

If you boycott the Canberra Centre there isnt much else! Westfield are equally lacking in the customer service stakes.

I'm glad you're okay. Not yet experienced serious customer service issues at Westfield except for a stroppy customer services girl at K-Mart ...Oh and the passport photo booth at the food court swallowed my money (yes, the irony ) and on a subsequent try (I know but I was desperate ) produced lousy photos.

I have always wondered. Maybe that's why the machine swallowed the money first time around: to pay for the lens damage
