A November to forget
Last week I lost my part-time job
Saturday a friend of a friend of ours passed away
Sunday my parents had to have one of their dogs put to sleep after a sudden illness, meaning they've had to cancel their trip to visit us here in Perth
This morning I find out a close friend of mine has lost their baby, their second loss in the past 18 months

Sending Karma! Sometimes everything awful choses the same time to hit!
So sorry for all your losses, and your friends. We've had friends in a similar situation recently and it's just plain sh!t really.
The best you can do is offer your support and friendship and try to distract yourself with job hunting!

Thanks for the replies guys.
My parents still have the sister of the dog that died, and feel very guilty about putting her in a kennel by herself just after this has happened. They're looking into changing the flights to around February if possible.
