Can anyone deliver what the British public now wants? Low taxes, high services, no foreigners, no red tape, total safety, sunshine, winning all sporting events and the moon on a stick?

Isn't that why we all move to Aus?

Love it!

Can all expats with an 'under 15 years' vote pleeeeeeeeze use it to get this useless bunch of wasters out. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Must admit that I don't think the Tories do have all the answers but I definately don't believe that Labour do either. After all, they have had years to put things right (though I'm not just on about the dire financial straits we are in, but I won't get started on that). We have a massive welfare bill that needs close review, and who is and isn't entitled to it should really be looked into. A culture of no respect and expecting things to be handed to some people on a plate (and them going ballistic if it isn't) is really unhelpful.

It's also worth remembering that if you don't vote against a party in power, you are effectively voting for it.

I'd say, it will be incredibly close.

Which is sad, but in this media world, where Barack Obama, who is undoubtedly a great orator and charismatic, means the Brits want the same. Ok Cameron isn't that close to Obama but its the best we can do.

I'd say it'll be a hung parliament, with the liberals holding the balance of power.

I say its sad, because I think Gorden Bown is a genuine intellectual bloke. But he is not charismatic, he doesn't come across well on tv, but as someone sarcastically said earlier, he did come up with the plan to save the world from the credit crunch.

Watch "the love of money" which was shown on BBC recently if you don't believe me. All the americans admitted they followed what the Brits did.

Yes Labour can deliver everything except the sunshine. They have now learnt from their past mistakes and have far superior policies than any other party currently in existence.

It would be stupid to vote for any other party!

(ok just kidding)

It is quite a good read on other threads how some hate labour because they hate Gordon Brown come on these people should not be given the vote.I used to work for a company & I hated the boss on a working level but I carryed on working or would of voted for him because at the end of the day he got the job done. I only left because I had a opportunity to work for myself.

Couldn't agree more. However, he is the chancellor and must be held accountable for what he has done and the decisions he has made - our economy was in surplus when they took over, he sold our gold at bargain basement prices and taxed pensions to death and had the cheek to call himself prudent.
