Finally decided that I've done my last Ironman race (that's full IM, none of this 70.3 HIM branded bollox
). The toll on my spine is too much these days and the whole juggling three disciplines has worn off a bit after 27yrs. I will carry on with some short and sharp tri but not in any serious way.
This year's racing will concentrate on criteriums, TTs and I may give Haute Route a nudge:fingers crossed:
Other than carry, carry on being the supreme athletic specimen I've always been. :thumb up:

I have too many to be bore everyone with and like every other year, they won't come to fruition anyway.......so I'll keep over indulging in 2016.

No New Year resolutions this year other than the usual personal improvements: eat less, do more exercise, etc.
Reflecting on past resolutions, today I celebrate 5 years since I gave cigarettes the boot.

Not to stuff up my life (or anyone else's) the way I have during every year in living memory?!
No mystery about that one, it'll be broken by the end of the week, I'm sure of that

I've done well with my no more Maccas or KFC's over the last few years.... in fact that's a fairly easy one to do. I think this year I need to make a resolution to come up with as concrete a retirement plan as possible..... Just wish Apost would make up its mind.

You have pinched MY SONG.

Retirement plans. Should we need them or should we wing it.
