New wheels...
Having had my 50k ute taken away as part of my recent "job restucture", I had to get some cheap transport asap. I picked up a car from a real Arthur Daley second hand dealer in the valley.
A 1990 Nissan Maxima that on the outside looks like it was rejected for the Mad Max movies as looking too beaten up, but it seems mechanically very sound and the interior is clean. $ 1050!! At Aus car prices this lets you know just how much of a banger it is. My first ever car was better than this!
Anyway, I now have transport but be ready for an addition to the "all outa luck" thread when the arse falls out of it on the Western freeway!!!
As most of the paint has sun fade really badly I may "decorate" it. Any ideas?

Re: New wheels...
I have always wanted to get bright paints and just paint symbols all over my car, like a 70's type hippie mobile.
decals are expensive for a full body type deal but you could cut and polish it and then put some on it - if you have anything to advertise.
Actually maybe I could put my business name all over it - just to help you out

I think you can get some Frangipan de cals from Super Cheap Auto and plaster them all over the bonnet. Then you could get the matching seat covers and more de cals for the rear window. Tiddly won't speak to you again but you wouldn't lose the car in a carpark.

I was thinking more of a giant four leafed clover on the bonnet!
