A new Quarter Pounder
At last our little addition to the Pounder family made her appearance last Sunday via an emergency C section, only a couple of days overdue.
However her nickname of Quarter was definitely inappropriate, as she was 7lbs 5oz!

thanks. we are calling her Mia as a sort of derivation of the name of my husband's Vietnamese mother.
One night in hospital the midwives kept her overnight (so I could sleep)... when I went to collect her in the morning, they checked our matching tags very carefully, as they thought she did not look like me!
Surely she can't be the only mixed race baby in the world????

Oh absolutely gorgeous! Her hair is beautiful. My middle one came out with black thick hair... the nurses kept checking she was mine. Beautiful name... Congratulations Mr and Mrs Pomster.
