One thing I was pleasantly surprised about was the inclusions you get in a new build, far more than you typically get in Australia. As well as the usual cooktop, oven and rangehood, it includes a built in fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Good brands too. Also includes all flooring coverings and a full internal paint. I think that's mega, wish it was the same in Oz!

Spouse you are going to love living there, it sounds great!
The shopping centre in Liverpool is something else, it has a fantastic vibe going on, great art galleries too if your into that kinda thing.

I'm feeling a bit homesick reading this thread...
