Default nearly choked on travel insurance quotes!!!

Just looking for worldwide travel insurance.........quotes ranging from $1,500 -$2000 for 2 adults/1 child.
We always had annual insurance in Uk, and generally cost about 100 squid!!

Please...somebody tell me there's another way.....or at least some feedback on more reasonable suppliers!

Oz...cheap?.....naaaaaaah!:curse:

Try http://www.columbusdirect.com/aus/?c...rceCode=TESINT

They cover anyone who has lived in Aus for more than 3 months (PR or not)

Quick quote gave me $539 (incl USA) for 2 adults and 1 child

Or: excluding USA, Japan etc. $489 - that's only 200 quid so not too bad

One of the above won't insure if you're over 65 - and the other if you're over 56!

That's me out, then................

Had a good look at their PDS, including the following:

What is a PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL Condition?
A Pre-existing Medical Condition means:
a] An ongoing medical or dental condition of which you are aware, or
related complication you have, or the symptoms of which you are
aware;
b] A medical or dental condition that is currently being, or has been
investigated, or treated by a health professional (including dentist or
chiropractor);
c] Any condition for which you take prescribed medicine;
d] Any condition for which you have had surgery;
e] Any condition for which you see a medical specialist

For anyone over the age of about ten, with the odd operation, having seen the doc for several complaints and problems over the years, etc, just about any condition is excluded from any claim!
