I'll have to take your word for that ;)

"jac16" and her husband.

They arrived in Brisbane with their two little ones a few days before JTL and I did. We booked into a serviced apartment near the city and when we arrived at the building the caretaker was out. One of the residents let us in and while we were there waiting, I heard some English lady talking and it was "jac16" with whom we had brief online contact on BE before flying out of the UK. We were invited into their apartment while waiting for our apartment to be ready.

We haven't been in touch for a while now. I hope they're just enjoying their life too much to get online. :)

Knowing we had at least one person we could turn to if things got too confusing made a massive difference to a potentially tough time and we're both grateful. :o

She's also really good fun now we're here and has introduced us to people like Julia and Pat who have also been great and treated us like extended family.

Thanks to all of them

Ah, you're both very welcome. It's nice to have you in our little family

For me it was Pat and Julia that made me feel at home here right from the start. Pat is my Mum's cousin so is family but I hadn't really met her much before coming here - she is wonderful though and we could never repay all the great things she has done for us.

What can I say about Julia - well she is just fabulous and the best friend a girl could have.

Hells teeth, how do stranger :D You guys were brilliant before we got here and for validation and for after we were here. Didn't bother mentioning you, thought you wouldn't see it. How the devil are you and Mrs and the two angels?
