Hoping pest control can spray the house ASAP. Since then found four redbacks escaping from the roof space via the light fittings. One dangling right over the breakfast table. Lovely! |

That's right, the experts really are not sure, from what I've read the mother is certainly very weak, she can either stay and die or get away and recover. Octopuses do something similar except that they don't seem to get eaten by their kids.

Brill Thread !! Quite frightening and sickening though. I just can't imagine being so calm myself. Maybe in a few years ( I hope) but it's all relatively new to me at the moment. Don't suppose you had photos of them all leaving did you?
