'Hello? Hi... yes, I have 200 orphans in my house for Christmas. Yes, their mother just died and I can't move the body. It's too difficult. Yes, 200. Tiny babies really... only a couple of days old... I'm having a bit of trouble coping to be honest.....'

No. My kids are really interested.

Oh hush now. They're not ugly... they're just tiny. They can't help how they look. All babies are beautiful.

How to get them down from there now.... and what should I feed them on?

Will they bond with me?

I'm thinking of getting them into a glass tank or something... I could keep them for pets.

Are you going to try breast-feeding?

Will they bond with you? Do you want them to? If so, you'll need 200 baby spider bottles with baby spider 'teets' (isn't that a great word - teets) and a plentiful supply of spider milk (next to coconut milk 'lite', tinned section of your local Coles).

Don't keep them all in one tank as they'll likey end up devouring each other, and I don't think you could handle the guilt . . . .

No that pic is cropped down so they appear bigger than they are. The egg sack (the white thing in the pic) is just a bit bigger than a 50c piece.

Aaaah, right!!! Still, a really good photo there.

I'm not sure they'd latch on that well. Size, you know.....

No, probably not. It was bad enough when the mother died.

I guess once they're bigger it'll be easier to direct them out of the door with a broom. :D

I'm sure many of them won't survive... but yes, there are a lot.

:D

I think that this is a great thing for kids to follow all the way.
Would teach more about nature than a lot of stuff in school.
