Now all you need is loads of pipe lagging to put round the edges of your tables, worktops, etc coz guaranteed he'll be walking right into them, howl a lot & then go back to crawling coz it's easier

Tis great being a parent

our boy is 16 months so he's a late starter but i guess they do it when they're ready
everyone told us not to compare, but it is difficult
it's just well timed with the imminent arrival of his brother or sister cos mum will have her work cut out

Aaawww, that's just great ....and all the very best to you and your wife on the imminent new arrival
I was only able to have one child but that is what I remember, the feeling of being so proud when he took his first steps

Strange the first time hurts helluva lot more but the second time around you know what is going to happen...

The last few weeks you have mixed emotions swaying from:
  • Please get this baby out of me now to
  • Please keep it in there forever I don't like pain

You know that it is going to have to come out soon enough and are filled with love and anticipation at the pending arrival however are scared sh*tless of going through childbirth again.... It is strange that when you are in labour you constantly declare "I'm not ready yet!!!!"

The third time in my experience, the labour only lasted 5 minutes so I didn't have time to think at all....

Watching your first born take their first steps is amazing. For me the best moment i had was after i had son no 2 and the eldest kissed his brother on the head and welcomed him to the house (then i heard him whisper keep of my teddy or i will send you back)
