Default MP3 technical question

Bit of a technical question about MP3 files. I've got some MP3 files of BBC radio childrens plays. The problem is that these files are in 50-60min 'blocks', unlike normal MP3 files that are in much smaller 'blocks'. The media player in my Jetta is not very good at doing FF and rewind on media files. Is there a program that I can get that can chop these MP3s into smaller sections?

The freebie editor 'Audacity' will import and export MP3s.

Check out Post 11 here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...t=audacity+mp3

Both look good. Thanks.

BBC radio really is the best.

You could also use Windows Movie Maker if you wanted something you would likely already have on your PC

In the past, I have tended to use Camtasia as I used to have it at work.

If all you're planning to do is use it once only for this task, you can download a trial version of it off their website.

PS. Aren't you a bit old for children's plays?
