From: Old North Wales soon to be NSW

I tried this thread on the immigration forum but got no response, wonder if anyone from 'The Barbie' might help.
We leave for Albury NSW in 100 days and are busy getting quotes from freight/moving firms.
Wondered if anyone could give us any pointers or share their experiences in this field.
We've had two quotes so far; one from Brittannia - very professional but at £3,850 for a twenty foot container door to door, we think that's a bit pricey.
We also had Godiva Enterprises round. Much less professional (on first impressions) but a grand cheaper.
We live in North Wales so if anyone out there in BE land can recommend a mover then we'd appreciate any advice.
Cheers.

Do these quotes include insurance? Ours from Toronto to Adelaide cost us just shy of $11,000 CAD, which is about 4900 GBP, insurance, packing and unpacking included. I would personally say go with the more people who include the cost of your insurance and packing/unpacking. Make sure they are familiar with Aus customs and AQIS regulations as well. If they routinely move people to Australia then they should be, but some overseas shippers specialise in other countries and are not familiar with Australian regulation.
