Movember?

Anyone on here taking part? I've shaved my much-beloved beard in preparation!!!

Re: Movember?

My husband did it last year along with a bunch of guys at work. He absolutely hates going longer than a day or two without shaving so it drove him absolutely crazy. He did make it the whole month though.

It was good fun for the guys I think and they did manage to raise a bit of money. He'll be skipping it this year but will probably donate a bit of money to each of the guys who are taking part.

Every day is Movember for my OH. Wish he would get rid of the bloody thing but he likes it.

Re: Movember?

I normally have a big beard :D but chose to get rid of it, to then grow again.

Gave the wife a hell of a shock when she saw me!

:D

I did it once and swore never again. I suffered very badly from the velcro effect when giving my good lady-wife some downstairs attention

Isn't that the whole point - look as Pornstar or Chopper as you can? The Geek went all Chopper on me last year. He's planning to grow one this year too but not sure he can grow anything different.

(My Dad's just been diagnosed with prostate cancer so it means a lot more this year.)

 I'm sorry but the thought of you with a tash has me howling  I have to see the photo at the end of the month!

The husband has had a tash since the mid 80s, I'd love him to get shot of it but don't know what he'd look like now. Last time I saw him clean shaven, he had hair on his head and that was a hell of a long time ago

It's causing some interesting meetings at work.

I walked in for a very serious, talk about your future, type thing with my boss, and burst out laughing. Couldn't look him in the eye the whole time as I was too fixated on his mo.

The Geek's doing well - raised $640 so far! Looks bloody awful but I'll let him off.
