I'd guess, not many people. However it might have been very cold in the bedroom, also "jacket" might refer to one of those hooded tops with a zip up the front, that can be worn both indoors and outdoors.

I guess. A hoodie. It's a Pumpkin Patch jacket apparently.

Seems odd to use the word jacket if they meant hoodie, esp out here. Anyway... all a bit odd.

Poor mite was admitted to hospital as a toddler with a human bite mark and child protection are involved now too. Certainly does not look good.

Well they do use different phrases here for different things, a gilet here is called a vest for example!! Plus out west it does get cold at night and they may well have put a jacket, as in hoodie/sweatshirt top on if there is no heating in the flat.

My 2 year old has had a few too! But I think the news report said it was an adult sized bite mark, which is very disturbing. My kids human bite marks have come from other little people, not grown ups.

Stepfather definitely in the frame this evening and man with child seen near a local lake.

as sad as it is, but it sounds very similar to the soham murders, ian huntly going on TV saying how bad it is they have gone and hope they come back soon, helping in the search etc....knowing along what he had done....

I think the folks are involved in this somehow, like someone mentioned on here they always saying things in the past tense..... none of the family have seen her in a while, not been to school for a few weeks, something not right there.

I'm not judging anyone for where they live cos I have never been there. However the Mum on the news was just plain wrong, huge sunnys, no tears although crying and saying ""She was"when refering to the poor girl....

The Mum knows something for sure (But be sooo happy if I'm proved wrong)

These cases almost always have someone in the family, or close to the family, involved.

Police investigating the disappearance of six-year-old Sydney girl Kiesha Abrahams said her immediate family were all being treated as suspects as they called off their ground search for the missing girl, the ABC reported.
Inspector Russell Oxford described the search as exhaustive, after seven days of police combing areas around her family's Mt Druitt unit. The physical search has concluded, but Strike Force Jarocin will continue to investigate Kiesha's disappearance, police said.

Well, to be accurate, he said that 'everyone' is a suspect. This means every single person in the area, not just her family. Until there's a body, there will be no answers and even if they do find her body, DNA evidence may not provide anything. It's very sad.
