Apart from the fact that if it wasn't reporting at all, but was still flying its route, then it would have lit up the board as it travelled up Vietnam and into China.
They 'hand over', they talk to air traffic control, and the loss of ADS-B would have got them a query at minimum.
Implausible.

With the Chinese deploying 10 spy satellites to the search, we're about to find out how good they are with their version of state of the art technology.
Someone has stolen a large Jetliner and moved it undetected before, not from Midsky with local ATC watching though

The Malay military is now implying hijacking of the aircraft, but to me this sounds wrong. Very strange in terms of timescales, or indeed, search patterns.

Apparently, not that strange if you listen to Captain Desmond Ross speaking on lateline last night.
The bit where he said 'it goes to the depths' made me shudder!
Hmmm.

The search effort seems to becoming more chaotic by the day, with "sightings" being reported and then retracted.

They'll make a TV series about this one day. Oops, they already have.

About bloody time they found something. It's been a right cock-up from start to finish.

Had to laugh at warnings from Google Maps:
As the search continues for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, Google has been forced to remind users that the images featured on Google Maps are not in real-time.
Several users have claimed to have found the plane after satellite images on Google Maps show an aeroplane close to the Vietnamese island of Cầu Ma Thiên Lãnh.
It gained so much momentum, Google Malaysia issued a reminder not to rely on the internet search engine.
