Default Medicals for Visa Application

Does anyone have any information on the medical the whole family will have to have for our visa application. I was told by my GP that they are not approved medical doctors and I would have to search elsewhere.
We live in North Wales near the liverpool border so somewhere close would be good if anyone knows!
Thanks in advance as I know you are all a very helpful bunch

You've probably put this in the wrong bit of the forum Shelly - try re-posting it in the Immigration forum for some more specific advice, but here is a list of doctors which are 'approved' by the DIMIA to carry out medicals and xrays.

Hope this helps.

We weren't asked for a stool sample. When did you have your meds done? Is this a new rule, or just an overly fussy Panel Doctor, I wonder? Or have you been on safari in Africa or something where you could have picked up some sort of intestine disorder? I'm puzzled, because I haven't heard of anyone else at all being asked for a stool sample. I think the OP ought to check this out with the Panel Doctor in advance.

Also, what is the validity of a stool sample unless it is provided whilst you are in the Panel Doctor's surgery? The reason why they want the pee-sample whilst you are with the PD is to prove that the urine in question is your own. Surely the same thing would apply to a stool sample as well?

Are you sure that your Panel Doctor could justify the double charge for this unusual demand for a stool sample?
