Yup, another step closer indeed, getting VERY excited. We don't expect visas before April/May and OH has 3 motnhs notice to serve at work so we expect to move around August time. Of course, that's assuming the house sells

Still heading to Melbourne. I think I'm going to do a trawl through realestate.com tonight, haven't looked for ages

We leave Edinburgh on the 23rd of Feb, arrive in Melbourne 28th Feb 2007.

Oh Ginny, it feels sooooo good. For so long we didn't even know if we'd be able to even apply for a visa and here we are doing medicals

If all goes to plan, we'll be coming over July/August time. Getting the house ready for sale right now and hoping to get on the market next month.

How's life in Brisbane? Are you OK since your Mum left?

Hi We arent planning on going for another 2 - 3 years, we arent sure where to go yet, Brisbane is favourite at the moment but hoping to go over to have a look at Melbourne in October to validate and for Marks 40th.

I have been to Melbourne but it was over 14 years ago so I expect it's changed a fair bit since then.

Stay in touch and we can meet up for a beer when you go over in October - that's assuming I make it there by then .

Getting over my folks going back. The first day I spent the morning with a friend in a cafe crying my eyes out! Getting easier now though. I'll be able to come and visit when you get over! Can't wait....
