Why is it luck?? My husband works bloody hard to earn enough so that we can have the family life we came here for. I don't see why it makes our family lucky and me a lazy slob because we can afford it. Does it make you a slacker and a crap provider or your wife a crap mother because you both work. Don't make such ridiculous generalisations.

Wind your necks in, and stop being so sensitive.
Is just as subject as a family we talk about, as we would like to have the opportunity to go to one wage, but wonder how others afford to do it, and what sacrifices are made to allow this.
Obviously a touchy subject amongst a few, apologies.

There are a few occasions each year, that people who haven't worked as hard but want what I have, say, often without thinking, that I must have been very lucky !!
It is quite a put down to be told that all our hard work and chosen sacrifies for the future, is just LUCK !!
But I try to ignore comments like that these days, as these people obviously do not really understand.
