Me boy has lost his 1st tooth.
I thought the 1st one went at 7yrs and hes not 5 till end June....so i phoned the dentist and she said its fine, children can start losing them from 4.
But it means hes not a baby anymore (i know at 4 they arent babies) but hes MY baby and now hes gappy!!!
Left a note for the tooth fairy to let us keep this tooth please as he has a little 1st tooth pot...
But hes me baby.
Hes well chuffed. keeps sticking his tongue in the gap.

The one next to it is also wobbly.

The thing is his teeth are quite spaced anyway...cos he was a big baby his frame is bigger then the average 4 year old so has a big gob!!!! Not disputing that one.
so his jaw is bigger....so 2 teeth missing hes gonna look mad!!Nickie

My eldest was really slow with teeth. She didn't get a sign of one until she was nearly 2. When she started losing them, the adult teeth were just as slow. For about 9 months she had the four front teeth missing
(looked just like that
) Had a nightmare eating, especially when I forgot and gave them corn on the cob for dinner

ah bless him....I got the opposite, my eldest will be 12 in July and he still got teeth to loose
Dentist says that's normal too.....but pretty certain, I had lost all of mine, by time I was in secondary school
hey ho - he lost ne the other day, thought it was great that he could still get money for his teeth!
yeah right!

My daughter fell in school and knocked her front tooth out in October (she turned 5 in November). She never found it in the playground but the tooth fairy did leave her £2
Her other front tooth was hanging loose so the dentist wiggled at it and it came out too. Then her bottom 2 teeth came out with a little help from her wiggling them and they have started growing, the top teeth have showed no sign of coming thru yet which I'm glad about as there isnt the room in her wee tiny mouth!!!
We were at the dentist a few weeks ago and the dentist was astonished that Cora already has her big back adult teeth on top and one side of the bottom
We didnt even know they were coming thru, she never complained of a sore mouth - bless her...................
My older daughter had double rows of teeth, her adult teeth were growing and the baby teeth stayed put - very stubborn! We're still waiting on a few coming out before she can be fitted for braces, which i'd like done before moving to oz.
Kids do start to look more grown up when they loose their teeth. I guess we have to let them grow up sometime

Jess swallowed one in the night!!! and then another night she woke up and couldnt find her tooth and found it in her cuddly Barney's mouth.

She still got the money for the swallowed one but i warned her i didnt want it presented to me in a couple of days.

Aww how sweet, my toothfairy paid 50p but she was wonderful when she forgot one night she left my son a letter written in tiny handwriting you needed a magnifying glass to see, he kept that letter for years!!
