May calls an election

Snap UK election - 8th June
Looks like May is going to try and bury the hapless and hopeless Corbyn
Smart move - her lead is massive over the socialists
Many on here have been saying that Corbyn is the best thing to happen to the Uk in years - now we're going to find out if they are right

May calls an election
June 8. Awesome. I will be in the UK and might just have to pass my vote. One thing is for certain, it won't be for Corbyn.

Re: May calls an election
Wouldn't it have been smarter to do that before article 50 was invoked?
And didn't they have fixed term parliaments to stop PMs calling snap elections when they thought they might win?
Edit : Thinking about it, maybe it's a ruse to get out from having to negotiate brexit? We know they haven't got a plan, or a clue, so all May has to do is screw things up and lose the election and she can wash her hands of it.
Is she smart enough to do that ?

How about this. Let the people decide who's going to take us through it. Job done.

Sturgeon has called it a 'massive miscalculation' so we'll be looking at a sharp drop in SNP support no doubt.

Hmmm. A female Conservative PM calls a snap election when Labour is at their weakest.
I'm sure we have been here before.
