Map of Tassie?
#1
Hi
I was listening to something the other night and I kept hearing women talking about their map of tassie. Now I have a map of the UK (handy sometimes), but the women involved didn't even live in Tasmania.
What's this all about then?

Now I'm confused, women can't normally read maps so why would they want one?
I agree (as a man) I normally find my way without a map (but I've never been to Tassie, is the road system there particulary tricky?)

It has a lot to do with who is holding the map.
If it's a Westerner it's best to follow the longitudinal route........but if it's an Oriental a latitudinal path is best.

Anyway, before I got there I was advised that it was the law that you had to wear a cycling helmet in Tasmania.
It was a couple of weeks later in Launceston when someone stopped me in a shop and and asked me why I was wearing a cycling helmet. I said "It's the law, you've got to!" They said "yes, but only when you're riding a bike".
I said: "Oh!"
