Every 10 years is enough for any bloke, and even when they can't be worn anymore they can be used for things like cleaning paint brushes, dusting or cleaning up oil

The ones I get come in a selection of colours and each pack is generally a primary color assortment or a subdued monochrome...a sort of metrosexual statement....

I go for the primary colours, I don't want to look washed out on a hospital ward. I have a penchant for hopping out of bed without warning and often there are females present...
I've been known to pick underwear on the likelihood of having it be on display, eg a visit to the city increases the chances of a collision and hospitalisation...

I find that my hand tends to favour the blues and reds, the greys and blacks therefore last longer. In the recent past I have been forcing myself to pick these ones so that they all develop moreorless the same pantina of wear....

I'm with Zulu and Wendy on this one. If M&S came here it would become at least as expensive as the shops here and my family would simply buy from elsewhere in Europe/the US.

Quite a few of the 'Ingleesh' shops put up their prices and even online try to **** you by steering you back to .au from .uk.

Their bras do not go up to my size and I have had knickers from them that have fallen apart in a few months.

But they are ideal for me, since I am small breasted but with a wide back and can't wear underwire bras as they dig into my ribcage. M&S wireless T-shirt bras used to be the only ones that fitted- I even went to Rigby and Peller, and their bras didn't fit. Last time I went however, they didn't have any in stock, so I had to get a different style, and not in white. I want white, not teen pink/grey/stripy.

Yes, colour choice is important. I recall my boxer short days, they didn't last long. They ride right up your arse crack

Mothercare failed here, I don't think M&S is bogan enough for most Aussies.

I'd welcome the Chicken Tikka Masala and some Wensleydale Cheese, however.

M&S's quality has been questionable of late....when everything was made offshore. In overseas M&S stores, they don't carry sarnies, just the biscuits, cereals, packaged stuff so I guess it would be the same here. Price wise these M&S shops carried expensive items so I feel the choice is better via their website which is forever offering free delivery to Australia

What is still made in England? I guess it has been awhile since manufacturing moved. I'll say it again, its a bit of a race to the bottom and quality will drop, death by a thousand cuts. I'm not sure how quality can be maintained except by niche brands and these will cut corners if they can get away with it...I think the consumer has to seriously consider do they really want 5 quid tshirts.

There goes the essential problem:

Modern thought is quantity over quality

In all facets of society trends:

Big houses
Big cars (SUV verse hatchbacks)
Big egos:p
Big meal sizes (resulting in need for bigger clothes, resulting in bigger meals)

The problem lies with the consumer. The companies just feed the greed.

Their sizing and shape, especially with trousers, just do not fit me and their fashions seem to be either uber trendy or really frumpy. Nothing in the middle IYSWIM. And their shoes are just awful:thumbdown:

Do love their prawn & mayo sarnies though:o Oh, and their opaque tights where always good too.

Not keen on their website too. Don't find it particularly user friendly or intuitive.

Er ................... fancy going for a drink sometime ?
