The best Karndean is about $100/m fitted. I have no idea what liquid lime and monoblocks is. I thought a monoblock was a mono amplifier!

We decided against poured limestone instead of paving or a concrete driveway, as it would be expensive and difficult if you wanted to fix a bit (if it cracked) or add to (if you wanted to put in a bit more paving). Also remember reading something about issues with any oil or rubber marks from cars if limestone was used for a driveway. What are monoblocks - do you mean pavers?

When it comes to flooring, it might be more expensive using this Karndean than solid wood. When it comes to re-sale value, which surface is more valued by the majority of the community? My guess would be solid wood, rather than Karndean. You might find it helpful to search through a specialised housing forum, such as http://forum.homeone.com.au.

Karndean is popular in the UK, but is expensive even here.

Personally, I love the look of bamboo flooring and that would be a consideration for me
