Default London 2012 - Ping Pong's Coming Home

"Ping-pong was invented on the dining tables of England..... the French saw the dining table, and saw an opportunity to have dinner - we saw a dining table, and saw an opportunity to play "whif-wham". That is why London is the sporting capital of the world! And I say to the Chinese, and I say to the rest of the world, Ping-pong, is coming home."

Boris Johnson

OT slightly - what the hell is that 2012 logo all about? What a pile of poo. What's it's supposed to be other than bits of the Union Flag scattered about? What happened to creativity or a mascot? The UK presentation at the closing ceremony was entertaining - Jimmy Page was fab but the logo? Perleeese

You mean this bit of crap? - This is the Offical London 2012 Logo, Cost 400,000 pounds to design!

This fits the logo better though:

They should of kept it something like this (think this was their bid logo):

I liked the bid one. Only just worked out what the main one says That's going to work well - not I prefer your version (or whoever did it).

Their whole argument for the logo is that it can be used by different sponsors in their company colours and that the main logo is pink, but it will also be used in different colours for different things..... here are the other colours, not much better is it? (note: Don’t look if you’re prone to epileptic fits!)

It's still shit, whatever colour it is. The one they had up last night was with the union flag - totally confusing and said nothing.

I think we're trying to overdo this *cool Britannia* thing

Why not stick to something we're good at.
