I know this is probably a long shot but does anyone know of maybe college students who are willing to design a logo? I volunteer for a group for a disease and designed a logo myself which I don't like. Can't really afford to pay a professional so wondering if there were any free options available.

I work for a Society and we approached the local TAFE. Just phone and ask to talk to the head of their graphic arts programme. The girl that offered to do it did a great job and didn't expect anything as it's all good experience. We did pay her a little as a gift and a thank you. They obviously do it lots because they were very happy to ask the students and knew the drill. Give it a go!
