Great stuff. It's also good to see he's from a normal family and there purely on talent alone and was not 'bought' a spot by his rich Daddy, as happens so often.

What a role model

yep true , very oftens its the kids with the £10,000 go-karts & what have you ,

it refreshing & made the sport interesting again

I think it's great having a Brit at the top of F1 again, and he seems like such a nice kid too. Certainly shaken things up a bit - Alonso doesn't seem too happy! Good that it's making F1 interesting again.

Poor old Jensen though - must be hard for him to take! Everyone was talking about him a couple of years ago and saying he'll be the next champion etc! Not looking quite so likely now.... (I bet it hurt like hell when Lewis lapped him in the US GP!).

lewis had better watch out for that aussie mark webber, i mean he's flying now, he came 7th
