I'm fed up with the supposedly fit healthy people who can't walk up or down stairs and use the lifts at train stations which mean the real disabled people and mums with prams miss their trains as the lift is always in use!
walk you lazy gits!

And that's why I don't have pets.

Some disabilities are not necessarily visible. I can't walk up the stairs at the train station due to bad knees and uncontrolled (currently) asthma. Well, I could but would need oxygen by the time I got to the top.

I'm hearing you, I hate the fact that I have to resort to the lift in the busways at the moment, but my knees and feet ache so much that stairs just finish them off, plus if my asthma is having a bad day I want to save my breath as much as possible. Add the unpleasantness of 35 degrees and 80% humidity, lifts are a wonderful invention.

My grumble is people who use the overtaking lane on the stairs or escalator but then don't yield for people who are faster!!! It is not as if there is a speed-limit - keep left!

I have so many problems with that, going home so often - London tube escalators are all 'stand on the right', Brisbane is 'stand on the left' - always takes me a few days, and a lot of swearing, to adjust!!

The eldest has a girlfriend. The first serious one. I'd normally be chuffed for him however he told me he doesn't want to move to Australia now. She's very pretty and I think he's falling in teenage love....

Oh dear, here we go! Let the fun begin!

Oh God! And don't I know it!

I'm not one of these types to pander to their child's every whim, so I'm almost certain they will be fireworks along soon. :D

At this moment in time I'm just trying to be calm...

I keep trying to entice him with pictures of babes on surf boards.

He's impressed for a few seconds ( typical male ) but then he snaps out of it! Lol
