I wrote a long msg here but it's too personal so I've started again. It's enough to say that with Mothers day tomorrow and 4 years now since mum died, the pain and hurt is as strong as the day that she left so it didn't take a lot for the tears to begin streaming.

Just a couple of things to those of you who still have your mums. Appreciate her and make sure that she knows that you love her. Also make sure that she attends regular health checks and take her to a doctor or even A&E if she has a fall or you notice anything unusual about her. And to mums: get yourselves to the doctors at least once a year for a check up. And stop being a martyr, take care of yourself! I feel certain that if my mum didn't have the stubborn "don't worry about me, I'm fine" attitude and had a medical check up at least once a year she would still be here today.

I feel your pain, my Mum has been gone 15 years and again could have been saved I think had she not shrugged off what she thought was regular backache.

Thinking of you today.

Girls, I blush easily! Please keep this kind of mushy stuff to PM's please!

No point in taking life too seriously anyway, you'll never get out alive!
