Daunted - am really sorry to hear that... :( the worst news.. hope you are OK.
I don't tend to cry... last time was probably when I realised finally that my marriage was not going to work.. back in 2008.. haven't shed a tear since... not really.. oh.. telling the kids that we were getting divorced was probably the closest I have come recently, but as they were so upset, me bawling my eyes out was not going to happen as they need me. I get near to crying and then it all shuts down... hmmm.. I am emotionally barren perhaps? Em x |

Re: Last time you cried
Cried over my 16 year old daughter when she left home again in January.Thought I had shed my last tear but started again when a friend was talking about the school ball her niece was going to and I realised my daughter did not want me as part of her life let alone helping her plan for her school ball.Sue.

Re: Last time you cried
Have cried a few times since we moved here.
But the one time that I will never forget. Is the day we were leaving and my dad grabbed my arm and ran out the door of the hotel at the airport crying. I have never seen the man show emotion at all in my life till that day and it still makes me upset when I think about it. Paddy:( |

Re: Last time you cried
I cried on Monday. I had one of those days where just everything seemed to be mounting against me & it all got a bit much. Sent hubby a text to say I'd had enough of it all & about 6 pages explaining what was wrong. His reply read '6 months time we'll be in oz & nothing here will matter anymore. Bar family of course'.

Paddy:( Your poor dad, he mustav tried to put it out of his head for the whole time and just let it all out in the end. That is so sad. I cry when I have bad days regarding my dad, who died 3 years ago. It's a long sad story. |

Re: Last time you cried
This morning :(
I wrote a long msg here but it's too personal so I've started again. It's enough to say that with Mothers day tomorrow and 4 years now since mum died, the pain and hurt is as strong as the day that she left so it didn't take a lot for the tears to begin streaming. Just a couple of things to those of you who still have your mums. Appreciate her and make sure that she knows that you love her. Also make sure that she attends regular health checks and take her to a doctor or even A&E if she has a fall or you notice anything unusual about her. And to mums: get yourselves to the doctors at least once a year for a check up. And stop being a martyr, take care of yourself! I feel certain that if my mum didn't have the stubborn "don't worry about me, I'm fine" attitude and had a medical check up at least once a year she would still be here today. |
Re: Last time you cried
Yesterday when I heard that my OH's grandpa had died. He was sucha lovely man, lived till he was 93  but was diagnosed with cancer 6 weeks ago  My daughter called him "Little Granda", so ofcourse that was our term of affection for him. Even tho he wasn't my grandpa, we had a great relationship and loved him.
Lynn xx Night night Little Granda xx |
