Did concern me but I also spoke to a colleague who is Fijian & she said Jan is not a good time of year to go there anyway.
New Year in Hobart is meant to be really good fun!

yes we heard that about Hobart too it will make a change from Sydney harbour, we have been there for 2 years now and it is great but I've done it now time to move on.
Fiji in January no I don' think I would go then it was wet enough at christmas
