No news.:( Spent the day with the outlaws yesterday, so just glad to be home today. I presume nothing for you as it's the weekend - that's so depressing isn't it? They should make the DIAC work weekends - they could catch up with the backlog in no time. Day with the outlaws? Not good? I have everything crossed that this will be the week as I really need something to lift the spirits at the mo!

I have everything crossed that this will be the week as I really need something to lift the spirits at the mo! The visa will come soon - I'm betting on Thursday! Then you'll be in a spin as you have to finish the work on the house.... Beth coming back was a good sign I'm sure. |

Might catch you on here this morn (eve) I am working from home for a bit as there has been a huge accident on one of the roads - I just spent 45 mins in the car going nowhere...... So have emailed the office and told them I would make my way in later - no point in sitting out on the road when I can be working here is there?
Just watching the new series of Gavin and Stacey - about the only bit of boasting I can do.:rofl: |

Lau x Traffic sounds like here - taking DD to school takes 15 mins with no traffic, 40 mins at 8am.:( mind you, I think Sydney is worse than Mellie. |

Lau x I hadn't bargained to be still waiting to sell the house now. The plan was to sell the house and business, go out on a tourist visa, stay with the rellies and then fly out to NZ to get the visa..... However, P has had to get a temporary contract to pay the mortgage cos we can't sell the house and of course, we can't jet off to Oz as his contract doesn't allow that much time off... Sorry, I'm a bit negative about the whole thing now. Need a kick up the arse and to get some good news on the house front. At least the traffic is bad in Mellie - there has to be a downside. |

No news yet on the flat - one of the viewers rang back to ask the service charge yesterday, EAs office shut today, so we'll have to see what happens tomorrow. Although I'm going out and turning my moby off - sod them all!

I could probably find more negatives if I looked I promise - but I tend to be an optimist as I know you are normally too!!! The whole process sort of gets to you doesn't it?
I am in work sat at my desk now ;) Lau x I am normally positive, but it has been over a year since we decided to do this and we are hardly any further forward... I might duck out of BE for a while to try and get a bit of persective on it. Hope you have a good day at work - at least I get to go and have my hair done and get some retail therapy tomorrow - that might help. Thanks Lau xx:wub: |
