We visited in January 2006 for 3 weeks then came over for good last June. I love it here but my hubby and son have not settled yet.

Well it's a long story with lots of twists and turns as we also have 2 daughters. One is here on WHV and one in Scotland, who we miss dreadfully.
The one who is here is going back to Scotland in June with her boyfriend, as HE hates it here and the one in Scotland is considering coming over..... Life is never smooth... Whatever happens, happens for a reason and we'll be ok. |

My eldest says that she would like to go back to the UK for a year or so when she is 18 /19 perhaps try and find a uni course that she can do here and spend 1 year in the UK.... Her aunt lives in London and she thinks she would like to go there and live with her for the year..... She is only 12 (13 next month) so I don't have to worry about it yet.... Your kids grow up and move on you can't keep them with you can you - I am sure that doesn't make you miss them any less though. Lau x |

Our eldest is 23 but she still needs her mum.
