Chief sent me out to buy my first pair of pyjamas yesterday.
(I haven't worn a pair since I was 14!)
Went to both KMart and Target which normally serves me well.
Found that all the best quality flannel pyjamas all had Homer Simpson themes or were Holden, or even worse, Jim Beam all over them. How feral is that?
Thank god there was no VB pyjamas.
All the unbranded stuff seemed cheap and I've warned Chief that the dressing gown will fall apart the first time it is washed.
Upside, bought some grouse pyjama bottoms for 9 bucks each.
One of the major drivers behind this lifestyle change is that I am required to wear a layer of clothing under firefighter gear at night jobs - so if I wear PJs I don't need to waste time on donning clothes. Friday night's house fire reminded me, it was a tad hot in the house!

My captain's PJs have a nasty habit of escaping through his structural jacket front causing much mirth.

The very pretty girl who er, we rescued from almost certain death
thanked us for the response - I think 6 fire trucks turned up in all. She said she was able to get out in her pyjamas quickly.
We explained that we took a while as it was to the edge of our area and we had to get out of bed too!

Hubby just used to have jeans and t shirt on the floor open ready to jump into. Never slowed him down. For 20 years wherever we were, he had the side of the bed nearest the door - even on holiday
