I can wriggle as well when I want to - Barbara Windsor does not cover it and I am quite deformed in the chest department.
We need more nurses, I can imagine ScottishCelts being a saucy nurse and Sally as well.

I can just see me in a pink nurses uniform straining over the breasts (pink is what they wear in Carry On Films).

Bernie visited him earlier, I was hoping to but got called into work for an extra shift. He was looking better apparently, and said he might get released tonight....I'm guessing that didn't happen as he isn't online. Unfortunately the storms and flooding tonight meant I haven't had time to breath so I didn't get to ring him this evening.

Getting out hopefully tomorrow. Liver infection was causing the problem so I couldn't get the op. Antibiotics are taking care of it and I will be given a deffo date for some 4 weeks away, to get the offending article away from me.
Then when Bernie has gone, they will take out my gall bladder!!

After all the "P" taking from Bernie about my looks etc, all the nurses asked if he was my brother because we look so alike!!

He should be so lucky

I think moderation is the key, like with meat. If you eat red meat everynight after a gall operation you will suffer but once or twice a week should be fine.
I think with booze, sticking to the recommended units per week would be ok but there are plenty nurses on here who can put me right!!

I would be too scared to tough alcohol if I had that operation, my friend has severe and advanced liver disease and that frightens me enough.
Personally, I would stay off the booze if they told me to.

If you don't ask they might not bring it up. I went to the bottle shop and got one of those small bottles like you get on the plane. The nurse took it off me as I was protesting the Doctor had me on fluids only.....

My daughter who's now 17 has been told by her consultant that due to her Epilepsy and the specific meds she's on that she mustn't get drunk. As we have no idea if she could handle five drinks and not get drunk or just one, we have to assume that it's just one and so she won't be able to drink any alcohol. Simple.
