Less than 12ft from our back door!!!
Thought when we moved to suburbia we wouldn't see them again, so close, but this was closer than ever!!! Magical
Anyone else had one in the back garden? C x

Yes! we see them in next door neighbours trees, (we only have palms), and also bushland on way to school. We also get kangaroos on school oval, and I'm very wary of driving at dusk because they roam across the roads where we live.

You know, I've thought, in the past, that you were 'quite' funny.
But, now, I'm thinking now that you just have to feel that you have to take the icing off of everyone's cake.
Why not let those of us who are happy to be here just be happy to be here?
What a very sad person you are......
my condolences....................................

On the ride home from school yesterday we always see kangaroos grazing, there is one male, at least 7 foot tall when he stands, yesterday another one the same size was there and they started to fight, boxing, then they jump up and kick each other in what looks like the nuts
It was totally amazing were about 10 metres from where they graze, you have to hope they never jump the barbed wire fence (horse property) and go after us
Day before walking dogs on the beach at point cartwright, we saw a shark fin
gliding
the gutter about 7 m out.

We were in downtown Cleveland the other day and there was a Koala sleeping in a tree right outside the doctor's surgery - this was on a busy built up street! I was amazed they venture so far into suburbia! Very brave but very, very cute. It was the first time we've seen a wild one.

that's the only downside of being in WA... no koalas
we do get plenty of roos though, and they come into our garden although i've not seen them myself yet. we also have a possom that comes and eats fruit every night.
