So I've recently got some books, and they now appear on my kindle as PDF files, anyone know why?! The font is so small and because it's a PDF file it's not a simple case of just making it bigger....
Hmmmmm....

I've had that with 'free' downloads. Only way I've found (not that I've tried very hard) is to change the Kindle to landscape, you turn pages more often but the print becomes normal. I tried to change it with Calibre but it made no difference.

Re: Kindle Fire vs Kindle Touch - opinions?
So I've got myself a Kindle Fire - $260 with a leather case, delivered. I registered it at my Auntie's address in Hawaii, and with a 'fake' US Amex card (thanks Google). I'm downloading books and Apps from the US site now - works well.
What a great device. Not only a top e-reader but can also use the internet, email, apps etc. It has a great screen and battery life is good, you also get free access to Amazon cloud storage. It's fantastic considering the price.
Next step is to root it (cue the jokes), which will give me full Android tablet capabilty.
