Since being here I've seen brushtail possums, ringtail possums, koalas, echidnas, wombats, wallabies, kangaroos, tiger snakes, eastern brown snakes and spinders eeuuggh! CAn't wait until we are living out in the country though, I love being surrounded by wildlife and I'm not really much of a city person!

But I will second that about kangaroos being good for smash repair businesses, hit a roo in my boyfriend's MR2 (hit at the side just behind the left front wheel) and it caused about $4000 worth of damage. The roo wasn't killed however but the car behind us finished it off unfortunately :scared: We always seem to see them now heading down from Ridells Creek and aren't safe until we are passed Melb airport. Saw one the other day eating by the airport as a 747 flew above it but didn't seem to be bothered luckily
