The journey begins....
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know we moved out of our house on Friday and stopped over at the local travel inn so we could have farewell drinks with our friends and family and so that our daughter to go to the school prom. We flew down to London last night and are staying with my sister for a week in Kent and we leave for Dubai next monday from Gatwick. We will eventually arrive in Brisbane on 21st August!
Seems very surreal, not sure what to make of it all yet really! I still feel like I am going on a holiday. Will keep you up to date as we go along and good luck to everyone about to make the move and all those wherever you may be in the process of things. All I can say is how quickly does the time fly by?? 
We're off for sunday lunch now and some alcoholic beverages!
