A sad loss indeed!

The man was an inspiration to many!

I saw him live in Verona a few years ago duetting with Pavarotti (yes, you heard right) They were awesome!

RIP The Godfather!

He certainly played at a few odd places. I saw him at Reading Rock...(or was it Glastonbury).

Anyways..2 nights ago 'The Blues Brothers' was on tv here with a cameo from JB. I couldn't recall if he was still alive...so looked him on Wikiedia...then low and behold

Yea - that's funny - I did the same thing. Was watching him doing the gospel thing in the Blues Brothers and wondered what he was up to ... now I know.
