Default Jackeroo family tent - any good?

We are ready to get our 1st ozzy family tent, and in Kmart they have a Jackeroo 12man 3room family tent for $299 instead of $600, or Stockman 12man 3 room family tent for $229.

Both similar, Hubby wants the dearer one, anyone have experences with either of them? Dont plan on going in any extreme weather, although i know you cant gaurantee it! LOL We will be going quite often for weekend and long weekends.

Thanks, Carley

Default Re: Jackeroo family tent - any good?

We had a jackaroo tent and it was wonderful.
Unfortunetly the last tent we bough we got from rays outdoors, was the same price as a jackaroo, but is terrible. One of the poles broke after less than two weeks and the staff at roys outdoors were shocking, trying to tell us we had been using it in extream conditions (there had been no wind or rain within that two weeks) and that poles were not guarenteed as they were not part of the tent!!

I certainly wish we had gone for the jackaroo.
